A Picture is Worth a thousand words

When my buddy Jaime over at en(reaching) lives asked me to write a post about my best memory so far this year, I was dumbfounded.

I stared at my pictures.  I scrolled.  I pursued.  Then I tried my no-fail option.

“Ben,” I yelled across the house.  ”What’s my best memories so far this year?”

“The elephants!”  He yelled back immediately.  ”When I pushed you into painting again!”

“I thought Mrs. McGill pushed me!” I yelled back.

“Either way, you’re painting!”

That I am. And every time I walk by Ben’s office and see the first painting I ever did….

It makes me smile and feels my heart with joy.

Immediately, I want to paint again.

What’s your favorite moment so far?  Stop by Jamie’s to read all the other great moments folks are having!  And be sure to stop by the Pond– there’s a new book review there!

It’s all sorts of fun.

And check out my Interview about my new book!
