My name is Miranda Koerner, and I’m a writer. Most people know me as Duckie, which I prefer to go by. Once upon a time, I was a children’s magazine editor and a reporter for a community newspaper group. Now, I’m on a journey for a new life– a creative life as a professional writer and artist.

I live in San Antonio with my husband Ben, the love of my life, and my two Chihuahuas, Bitty and Bear. When I’m not twirling in pink dresses and inventing stories or dancing in grocery stores, I like creating tasty things in the kitchen. I love Disney movies, have an addiction to peanut butter and am a total gym rat. Elle Woods is my idol and inspiration.
I love critters, never sit still and dream of opening up a rescue ranch for dogs and horses.
